That's a perfect candidate for a Redi mag receiver attachment

Meh...Rock River quality has gone downhill over the last few years...to the point of quite a few problems, there is a reason you almost never see them in a high round count class....they just do not stand up to 1K rounds a day..... I'd not pay over $600 max for what you got there.....

What is the barrel twist, is it hard chromed & is the chamber hard chromed....does it have the M4 cut outs??

Personally I'd replace the barrel with a good double thick hard chromed one...the BCG would need inspecting, the gas key for proper staking and inspecting the LPK/trigger as a minimum....those sure fire rails are not free floated & ya can get better ones that are free floated cheaper....the YHM front sight...meh...not all that great....stock is a commercial sized tube I bet....replace all springs....ect...ect...

My Rock River is a 2001 when they were producing superb quality rifles...they have gone from being one of the best to among the lowest quality AR's mass produced...DPMS is actually better....and the Colt's you can get at Wally world...way way better....as are the Windham AR15's.....they are ran by the original Bushmaster group but after Bushy was bought out their quality went into the shatter also....so some of the original bushy guys got together and started Windham & those are a high quality AR....

I have shot many rock rivers and I have yet to see any problems from my brothers multiple RR and most of his buddies get a new one every year for Christmas and they are still good firearms. Personally I would take anything RR makes including their new Poly frame 1911 Pistols!

This is all preferential, some like them some don't, that's why we have selection!
