I love my FN FNP 45. They changed the name on it to FNX this year. Same gun though. It's a little fat for concealed carry. It has a 15rd double stack mag so if you have small hands its hard to hold. Softest recoil of any .45 I've ever shot. Best part, all FN pistols are made in the USA.

 

biggest thing i can tell you is go to a shop and hold the gun in your hand. if youve got a friend that has one go shoot it bc you need to be sure the gun fits comfortably in you hand. i have small hands so i normally lean towards a 1911

 

Take a good look at the Kahr CM9. Great little pistol for a CCW. Stainless steel. Accurate. Made here in the states, and sell new for under $400.00.

 

Get what fits your hand best, if its not comfortable and doesn't feel natural then it does not fit you and will have a hard time shooting it accurately.
