You may want to consider pillar bedding the receiver.......glass bedding the action should give you a floating barrel. Glass bedding is easy.....look on U Tube for examples.

It's just that there is so many options for the 10/22, it's hard too get started

It was hard to stop at $400.00 in parts.......they make barrels more expensive than that.

Took the 10/22 out tonight and ran 10 rounds out of it at ~50 yards free standing.




I think I did alright for cheap ammo and no gun rest! I did notice I need to get the trigger job done ASAP. Idk if it's 5 or 7 lbs but its pretty heavy and it definitely is pulling away the accuracy.



I'm gonna look around and find a nice 1 or 1 1/2 lb trigger kit. I want to go lite but not too lite.

i would like a trigger lite enough that if a hair touches it, it will shoot

That's a good way to get someone killed if you let another person handle a gun with that lite of a trigger all it would take is a short fall and it would be popping off rounds
