someone informed me you were the go to man about ecm on cummins and i have a 01 high output and ordered a reman ecm proggramed to my vin and mileage and put it on and my engine temp and oil pres gauge were maxed out and i had very slow throttle response any idea on whats causeing this i can send the ecm back i just need to knw whats makin it do that cause im truckless because of it any help appreciated thnks

So are you saying the truck is doing this with or without the smarty programed into the new ECM? I think either way you need to send that ECM back

Yea if you oredered it remand it should have a warrenty and work correctly. Call the company you got it from and discuss it with them. If this isn't a smarty tuned ECM I highly doubt bob will help. Call the original purchase dealer to rectify it

Since it did this to several gauges and your throttle, I would double check wiring and especially grounds before condemning the ECM. It just may well be something simple like that. . . (I hope!)
