Last week the ECM on my 06 3500 5.9 was updated while the truck was being worked on. The Smarty S06 isn't loading now stating "Unknown Software".

I'm assuming it's because I have not updated my Smarty with the S06V416ADR14S.7z Nov. 14, 2008 update.

Can anyone tell me what Dodge versions this new Smarty software is good for?

Thanks Luke.. that's a different page than I had.

 

The last time I had that problem, it was because I tried to go back in software versions and you can't do that. I would try updating your Smarty to the latest software version and see what happens. You might need to have to update the USB software, as I ran into a problem with that when I updated to the 11/08 version. Here is the link for that.

What was it? Just asking in case someone else runs into the same thing.

 

The 5.9 flashes are not bundled the same way the 6.7's are. So there is a latest update 'date' not so much a version.

As long as your flash date is previous to the programmer build date they match up.
