Default Dumb question?

So my dumb question is there anything on my 2002 f350 4x4 7.3 powerstroke I need to watch out for in the engine compartment when power washing?
I know on gassers the spark plug stuff u have to watch out for but dot have those! Yay!!! But what about like GP relay? Or anything like that?

i have heard alot of guys covering there alternators but i never have.. i usually do once a month during the summer and dont cover anything

Just watch out for the valve cover harness. If you hit the plugs for them the wrong way it won't run very good. Other than that there's really nothing to watch for.

Cover you alternator, cover the fuse box and try to stay away from the valve covers. I use the lowest setting possible with the power washer and try not hitting anything directly. I spray diluted Simple Green or Purple Power on a cold motor, scrub with some long handle brushes and then power wash

i also use purple power that stuff will clean anything!!! highly recommend it
