Default burned up bugs

the title is refering to my stack. has anyone figured out a good remedy so bugs wont get crispy when they hit my stack and stick like eggs in a frying pan? wax seems like it would just burn off.

Try a good quality chrome polish, and then when you do get bugs on them, take some 0000 steel wool to them. They will be fairly easy to get off. I live on a lake, so I deal with LOTS of bugs on a daily basis.
Something else I've used is 409 and a microfiber bug sponge. That's what I use on my grill and front bumper and they come right off.

WD-40 should get them off and prevent them from sticking so much. Works for mud too.

try Trailor Bright, you can get it at big truck stops and tractor shops. We get it at the Kenworth dealer.

On the Peterbuilts at my work, the drivers use a solution of 60% water to 40% white vinegar and wash them with the truck running, or just after shutting it down. I think they have polished stainless stacks but they may just be chrome. Works really good though!

just try letting the bug guts soak in an All Purpose Cleaner solution, i use this on vehicles when i detail. spray the bug, let em sit 5 min then wash them off. works wonders!
