Just going back to the question about the exhaust tip,
i have a new tip on the exhaust from this one but then i was thinking about taking the stainless off and painting it another color.... i was thinking white.... its a sleeper... what do you guys think?
I painted my entire MBRP exhaust system with Black BBQ paint. It isn't flashy, doesn't require polishing, and cost a heck of a lot less than the MBRP Black series. After install I touched up a few stops, and to this day it's still holding up really well. Better than I thought to be honest. Even at the down pipe, right off the turbo it's still BBQ black!

That was my trick when I was building VWs. I really like the sleeper look it gives... One of these days (when I get the ***** to de-chrome my truck) I will be doing this as well.
