Project Rusty Revival (56k no way!)

as long as when you lift it dont leave the wheels and tires inside the fender like alot of people do lifting first gens. although its hard to get tires to stick out on those becuase i think they have shorter axles or just wider bodies. idk its up to you on that take it easy get us more pics of that slick paint job when its all put back together

Just got a call from the body shop and things are going well. All of the glass should be going in next week. I am going with all new belt line seals and window seals, and I will install all the new door molding when I get the truck back. New windshield is going in, along with a sliding rear window, and new seals all around. The truck should be pretty well air tight when I'm done with her. I am definitely getting more and more excited! I am glad to see such quick progress as of late, hoping to have her back in my shop by the end of the month still!
Interior will be the first priority for me, because it is something I can do when I have time, then maybe over thanksgiving break I will be able to tackle a big portion of the bed.
I'm so giddy!

Rusty got delivered today to the garage!!!! I just bought a set of seats to put in her, and I will resume work once more this weekend.
This weekend I hope to get the wiring in the cab finished (it is close), and get the carpet laid again, and then get the seats installed. Then, Monday my dad and I will begin work on the center console and sound system. Hoping to have all the interior done by Tuesday.
The next substantial amount of work I get to do to her will be the bed, which I hope I can get done over Thanksgiving break. Between now and then I need to get the front suspension work done, front brakes swapped, and front halfshaft installed!
I will be sure to get pictures of the beauty on Friday when I get to the garage, and of course all the progress I make this weekend!

Well, here she is! She looks good. Obviously a few things need to change, like the color on the intercooler... I will just go to matte black, I think. Got the seats home today too, so I should get a start on those tonight, and hopefully get them finished tomorrow so I can get to the rest of the interior Monday and Tuesday.
Here are the pics!

Thanks guys! You have NO idea how stoked I am to have her back. I have been making very good progress throughout the day. Will definitely have more pics up later tonight.

Ok, here are the pictures, as promised. Gonna call it an early night... I figure I have been productive enough. Tomorrow I am going to start out with the amplifier rack, which will be the base of the center console, essentially. Then, if I have time I will start installing the sound system, and making plans for the rear speaker boxes. If all of that goes well, I will finish wiring the dash and get the gauge cluster installed for the last time, and possibly get the gauges installed. Having a cookout to introduce the new rusty to all my friends, so tomorrow is not likely to be extremely productive.

Here is a shot of both seats mocked up in the cab:

And last, but certainly not least, the Amp sitting where it will go:

Tons of wiring still, and need to figure out what plugs are what on the power driver's seat... I am so overjoyed to have her back... I missed working on something!
