Thank you for the input so far, very interesting to read what ya'll have. A local diesel shop owner likes the Chevy/GMC 01-04 LB7 & Dodge 99-02 24V for daily drivers/occasional light hauling.

Keep the input coming.

i occasionally drive my truck during the week, it's my work in progress and i use it to pull a few things around from time to time. i see around 15mpg city and 22 on the hwy driving sensibly. i don't know the hp & torque #'s but i know they are more than stock. i like this truck because the ride is very smooth like my old (2001) 1/2 ton gasser and the fuel mileage is about the same empty. i do get way better mpg when loaded now though
