Thanks guys, that makes me feel better. Just about the time I think I have things worked out, the bottom falls out of it. I'm not giving up though, I dont care if I replace everything I'm going to make a solid truck out of this one. Kinda like a girlfriend, the ones that cause problem are the ones you wont let go of.
I'm in the same boat. In the last two months I have rebuilt the Vaccuum Pump, did the KDP fix, changed the water pump and new belt, replaced tie rod ends, Buffed Waxed and polished, re-routed my fuel pressure guage and now I'm gettin ready to rebuild the fuel supply system again. Come hell or high water I'm gonna make this truck road ready again, I have to, it's a part of me. I quit countin dollar signs a long time ago but I know I got at least $50,000 in sweat equity in this truck and I'd never get that back out of it if I sold it. Wife keeps goin off on me for droppin more money in the pit but I told her if I got a new one I would just have to start all this build up over from scratch. That just get's me one of the nasty looks.
