I own a machine shop, and have sheetmetal tools as well (30 ton press brake) So Im not worried about the fabrication end. Just the time involved, and having it come out looking factory. If I get close to having what the previous post shows, Ill burn it down!

I think your idea of using a regular cab for the back of a crew cab would work great.

Definately some work, mainly "squaring up" the front corner of the window opening, then having glass cut. Easier thing would be a quad cab, and adding an extended cab portion to it. But I dont like this for: windows are going to look wierd, and likely rework that opening anyway, and the back windows wouldnt roll down.

Seems to be a loosing deal. Still a lot of work, but not getting roll-down windows, and having it look goofy, doesnt seem worth it. Now I just gotta come up with some free cash, shop space, time, a truck, and donor cab!

you could just go and get a 4 door mega cab and put that on... after ya got the frame extended of corse

They do alot of custom stretches. Only bad part is it'll set you back a good 12K but I'd like to do it myself
