Default fine scratches in paint

My paint has some minor scratches in the paint on the drivers quad door and some on the side of the bed looks like someone was wiping it down and had small dirt particles in the rag or something anyhoo..... does the scratch remover stuff that you get at the parts store or wal mart in the wax/cleaner section work or will it mess up the paint. The paint job is still like new for an 02 except theese few spots. Or does anyone have any other ideas on removing them?

I use mothers scrath remover. It works.

But remember most scrath removes just kind of hide clear coat scratches. They make your truck look better from 5' theyll still **** you off.

If you know how to use a buffer. A real orbital buffer not a random orbital or dual action you can work with the clearcoat and paint to completely remove them. But if you dont think you can do it. DONT DO IT. You have to heat up the clear coat and then work it back into the scratch and if you dont know how to do this it will ruin your paintjob.

Also if the scratches go deeper than the clearcoat. wet sainding is usually all that will get them out.
