Well...that TCM change didn't work! It wouldn't shift out of second gear! Had her all the way up to 3800 RPM and still no shift!

Went back and loaded a modified tranny tune Toman made and it seems to have cured it. I'm gonna go clear taps and let her re-learn this week and see what happens.

Stay tuned!

I have a custom TCM tune in right now. I loaded it after my failure this morning with the altered d5196 settings. Wanna take a look at it? Jeff Toman wrote it for me. But I have not messed with any TCM tune myself yet. After studying Toman's TCM tune I can see what the changes did.

This tranny tune has always been pretty solid but up until now I didn't want to mix this TCM tune with Nick's ECM tune. I am running Nick's tune now with the altered setting to the b1102 and b0741 tables. So far the partial throttle defuels are gone. I'm in the city so I have to head for the outskirts to do some WOT runs.

i dont mess with my tcm untill i go to the tracks, the defuel is in the ecm tuning.

i have a few tcm tunes that delete first gear and shift at 3200 or 3700 depends on the applicaton. but my defuel was taken care of in the ecm, you shouldnt even have to mess with the tcm to get rid of defuel.

Good info to know...thanks! I'm gonna work on that 2nd gear launch because after studying the logs, the 1-2 shift is almost instantanious!
