Thanks for your posts. Have you figured out how to get the tach to work? I have heard rumors that someone got the tach to function properly using the standard wiring from both vehicles. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I noticed you used the Mercedes motor supports, where everybody else has been fabing them, I have a TJ, and from the preliminary measurements, it looks too wide to fit between the frame. Did yours fit tight? Or did they work out good? Once I get the old motor out, I should be able to get better measurements. I have V-8 pads that are harder than the Benz pads, but also have a larger bolt so I will have to drill out the motor support.
