I've used it on two trucks, one with slight surface rust, the other with major rust problems. Works very good, but is alot of work. You need to do all four steps to make it last.
1. Marine clean
2. Metal prep
3. Por-15
4. Top coat
All is obtained from your Por-15 dealer except the top coat. Some will tell you that the top coat is not necessary because the frame isn't subject to UV rays (Por-15 has no UV protection). But it will fade over time if you don't use a quality top coat. Took me about 16-20 hours on each frame (including running gear and suspension).
