i wouldnt buy a "hotel" tool box just yet i would buy one and pay it off and slowly step up on sizes. ALWAYS REMEMBER the tools inside the box is what you make your living off of not the box the tools are inside. spend your money on good tools because there is def. a difference. somethings you can get away with harbor frieght tools but theres times when the cost of a good tool will be well worth it

to sit back and read this board makes all of you look retarded """ my box is better than your box""" or your box is junk. come on, its a friggen tool box at the end of the day. get a
crapsman to start with and load it with good tools IMHO to spend 10 g on a tool box is insane seeing as you are a student and have no job

i bought a used macsimizer bottom box like six years ago and my boss didnt want me to have a nicer box than him so he bought a brand new snap on like the same size. and i didnt like his at all. snap on tools are better than anything but i think mac has a better box. and like a year later i saw the same box as mine on craigs list for 2500, i allmost had two .. my advice would be buy a craftsman, even used, and fill it with snap on tools while you get that discount, and just scan craigslist for boxes, it may take a year or two but one will come up and save you a few grand .

a good set of cheap wrenches you can add to your box is this set...
Sears: Online department store featuring appliances, tools, fitness equipment and more

it has all the regular wrenches you need
