I am with YJ junker on this one, i looked at some snap on boxes back in the day and was never impressed, the only way to get a good snap on box , is to go top of the line, ( ten grand for a bottom box is retarded....) any of the cheaper ones are garbage.

I have a craftsman, top and bottom box was 650$ ( walked into the store one day and they were having a one day 65% off clearance sale), five years later its overflowing with tools, but still does its job just fine.

It doesn't cost $10,000 for a bottom end box! Where the heck are you shopping? Sucker-R-Us?

My $5,400 sure isn't garbage! I've had it 7 years now, and haven't had a single problem with it.

I guess if "just fire" is good enough for you, get a Craftsman box. I prefer things that do the job exceptionally.

Even the Classic series are really good boxes. A few of the guys at the shop have them, and they do EXCEPTIONAL.

My co worker had a brand new snap on bottom box with one full width drawer at the top, to open or close that drawer you had to push/pull within 6 inches of the center , or it would open crooked and jam.

One bad one doesn't deem them all "garbage"

Id give my left nut for a big matco or snap on box but i paid my way through school and everywhere else so even though my craftsman box leaves alot to be desired im not upset that i bought it. I am upset that i still cant afford even a bigger craftsman since my current box is over stuffed but oh well such is life.

check craigslist for a used box theres snap on/mac/every other thing, try to get a loan from a bank insted of using snap on credit their intrest is way too high. I think mac has a better starter set with box than snap on Im looking into both

I got that 50% deal and I bought 10k in tools over 2 years and got their smallest box on wheels because my tool box I have now has 6 tires and weighs 18k+/-. Only problem I had is I had to keep few of the bigger tools in my pickup which was a easy 30 foot walk.
