All I got right now besides what's in the truck toolbox. I had a lot more but my stash got stolen a coupe years ago so I'm slowly rebuilding the collection. The black one is a great 340-pc set I bought from Craftsman for $200. Specialty tools for suspension, brakes, etc are on the shelf to the lower right (can't really see the pile of red boxes).

I counted over the weekend... I have 18 ratchet wrenches -- all but 4 are Snap On and those 4 are Mac, Matco, K-D, and Proto. Weird thing is that I use them all.

I need to do a total tool inventory. My collection needs its own line item in my homeowner's insurance.

How long has it taken you guys to build up your collections? Right now being in college I have two decent sized hand boxes that are full, I dont have enough yet tho to move to a big box. I am pretty much set with hand tools, now I need to start looking into some power tools. Just seeing the time and expense I will be looking at. thanks.

To be honest I collect tools since 20years.
And I could run still everyday for something special. It is easy to explain why. I always try to get the very best tool, because sometimes you have only one try to do the job. Ruined parts can get expensive very quick.

@moose:
bro, I feel so sorry for you!
Is there any chance to remove those ricers pictures. At least you have some very good snap-on's!!!
I have only the black Craftsman chest and drawers...
