I started buying tools when I was 14 and got my first car. I still have some of my first tools also. On average, I've spent about $20 a week or so on tools since then. That was 39 years ago... Lord knows how much money I've made or saved by doing my own work with those tools over the years, and I'm still buying, but my stuff is more exotic and more expensive these days.

I prefer Snap On to any other brand of hand tools, except specialty tools, then I go to the one's who figured it out in the first place. Vice Grips, Crescent Wrenches, etc., are all better than other offerings. Knipco have the best pliers. On it goes. Since I've been an Snap On dealer, I've had a lot of experience comparing one tool to another. Though I started with Snap On way back when I was a kid, I've never been disapointed and I'm still a big customer and fan, enough so that becoming a dealer was a good thing for me. I'm out of the business now (don't care for their business model as a dealer) but still using and buying their tools.

My toolbox got a little crushed I was going up the ramps in my ATV when the ATV tire hit the bugle on the bed of my pick-up & I went airborne & landed on the toolbox I had to get a heavy hammer, I made the toolbox functional, but it wasn't pretty

See... If you had a real tool box, you could just park the ATV in the side cabinet.

As long as I own an ATV, I won't put a tool box on my pick-up

Yeah I just graduated from UNOH and I loved my 50% off . Our school Snappy guy was picky tho and most of the stuff they offered discount I already had. Got the box used so no discount on that either
