Default engine lift

can some one please explain how to bleed the 8 ton hyro cylinder on an engine lift before beat it with a hamer. i think its bad but it wont pump up nothing but a 1\4" off bottomed out. i have tryed different ways but it still wont work. Any advice will be very helpful

I suspect it may not have enough oil in it. Sure you have enough?

i think so it was running out of the hole and you put more in it shootes out of the fill hole pluged or not
