I wear gloves for most anything I do as exposure to used oils is not a good prospect.

However, ATF works wonders!

Many moons ago (Let me stress MANY), my neighbor worked in one of the plants in Baton Rouge, LA. He brought home some of the hand cleaner from there in a used plastic container. From what I remember, it was a white creamy goo and it had plastic beads in it to clean like the pumice. It had a lotion in it to keep the chemicals from drying out your skin, and would take off the dust from the "good ol brakes" from the early 80's without even trying. I used it every time I worked on his truck, it took off axle grease, brake crud, and whatever else you could throw at it.

If I have to guess it is no longer available on the market b/c it worked.

Best hand cleaner ever fellas, I have found it.
Get your girlfriend to wear a white t-shirt and when you finally catch her from chasing her around that cotton will remove most of the grease.

I use FAST ORANGE.
Though, I must admit.. when I use it I am almost tempted to eat a handful.

Just bought a box of surgery gloves. I was getting tired of having a " black marked coffee cup".
Usually I wear two gloves on each hand. It allows a quick change. No need for aggressive hand cleaners any more. Best advantage it's paid now as an aid in working safety( Did you ever had to work with ultra aggressive Monsanto Radar coolant?).
