I'd rather put lotion on dried out clean hands than have residual grease and chemicals that I work with on 'em. The liquid detergent, even the eco-friendly hippy stuff dries my hands out pretty bad but it works REALLY well. Then I have Vaseline Intensive Care hand moisturizer, that stuff is awesome.

KRESTO, if you can find it. 18 years of working on marine diesels, superheated steam boilers, A/C and refrigeration compressors, pumps, motors, winches, diesel oil, heavy oil, bunker c oil, hydraulic oil and my trucks and toys... it's the only thing that works better than the others. Washing your hands 3 to 4 times a day with Gojo tears them up and dries them out.

Fast Orange, if you rub Vaseline on your hands before you start working pretty much everything comes right off. Just enough that you don't feel greasy.
