I totally agree. I'm in my early 20's as well. It's sad some people just weren't brought up the right way IMHO. As for the fuel theivery.. I live in a small town and my keys are usually in my ignition as well - people seem to know to stay off the farm if they're tryin to steal somethin.. could be glock i keep in the truck, or maybe the 270 I ride around with sometimes.

x2 5.9bronco.. People have no respect for other people and their stuff these days. I can't stand a thief or a liar. Texas' cattleman's laws have convinced me to move out there after I get out of college in May. I wish Alabama had kept a few of those laws...

Most people know me well enough to know I aint violent, but you with someones vehicle or hit a girl. God forbid I get a hold of you! I dont own a gun yet but it is on the to do list soon, but I prefer to take my anger out with an old fashioned beatin.

I hate thieves. People have told me thieves are people too. Bullshit unless they are stealing to provide for their family, there is no reasonable theft. But then again I am a firm believer of helping most people in need. So if they need, it they just need to ask. What happened to helping out others and your neighbors? Maybe I am just old fashioned, but I wish there were more people around with the same beliefs, that are my age and any age for that matter. Kids these days, including my age, early 20s, dont have any manners or beliefs that were taught to them.

ya i'm in college too and alot of these kids have no respect for anything. i've left my doors unlocked a couple times and it never fails my inside lights or headlights will be on. and some tools missing everytime. i don't steal from them or mess with them. i'm usually working. bt apparently if i come in greasy or dirty then i'm in the wrong.

But I don't think anybody who's ever actually tried to syphon fuel out of the filler neck would bother with buying a locking gas cap.
I think people who've actually siphoned before had such a bad experience, we all learned to plan ahead.
