i don't have any yet but i am shopping for some....just didnt know which brand to go with but after reading this, i have a better idea of a brand to look at. Thanks!!

I think my next tool purchace will be the stubbies. Ive got the regular ones and dont know what i did before i had them.

my next tool purchase will be the vortex socket system...i used them while puttin a tranny in a cavalier and loved them...

all my wrenchs are snapon, ive got the 15 degree offset ratcheting wrenches in both metric and standard, 0 degree offset in both mertic and standard, and the stubbys in the sam order. i love them woudnt be able to do a damn thing without them.

we have the craftsmans ones at work and I dont like them near as much as the gear wrenches

I'd take a gearwrench any day over a craftsman that does the same thing.. Ive had them both, and the craftsman suck in comparison. As far as snap on goes, we all know its great stuff, but its often way too much money for those of us that are just weekend garage monkeys.

ive got a set of gear wrenches. i love them, the only problem ive had is my 15mm fell apart on me and it got sent in for warranty im still waitin on that to come back. its been like 3 weeks. the one i use the most is the one that broke.

I have three sets, Craftsman standard, Gearwrench Standard and metric. I use the sheet out of them and don't know what I would do without them anymore.

The best set I think is the Gearwrench brand. I have Blackhawks and like them but Gearwrench makes the Matco and Mac ones so you just as well get Gearwrench. I like the flex head ones the best.
