A guy with a 2001 24v cummins, 6spd, 1-ton dually, upgraded clutch, airdog, southern body etc wants to trade my truck straight even, and I'd wager those sell for more than $12 grand.

How many miles the cummins have? What's wrong with it? Clear title? Whas the body look like? Sounds a little to good to be true in my book, maybe he just wants a obs ford. I gave 8300 for my 99 f250 ext cab xlt power everything loaded except leather and that. Electric mirrors, tow package, gooseneck etc. 168000 when I bought it new tires. And the only reason it was that cheap was it was wrecked from a broken steering box but I checked it out throughly. I was looking at a truck like yours 97 ext cab power everything lift but tires were about shot and it had rust all over but it was standard. Guy wanted 7000 I told him 5700 highest I would go 214000 miles, I told him he was high as a kite and left.

Cummins has 190k miles. Clear title. Southern truck, so the body and underbody are mint. There's a small dent on the rear c-pillar where I think some clown didn't know how to drive a goosneck and turned too hard. Interior has a cracked dash. Other than that, great truck.

BTW where are you located? Geography plays a huge role in how much our trucks sell for

Ohio. Where are you? My truck is Kbb at about 11500 in very good condition which it's not perfect but ita not junk either like the others I've looked at. And you really can't base your asking price on what all you've put into the vehicle, you may get lucky and get someone who wants that and will pay that but in this day and age it's highly unlikely. Unfortunately whatever you put into a vehicle doesn't always get reimbursed, for example first truc I had ford ranger 4x4 160000 miles motor blew up I replaced cost ms 2000 for junkyard motor install and Misc. Parts air extended cab nice truck, I think my dad sold it for 2200 and it was valued at like 3800. It's sad really.

Like I said I'm negotiable.. always start high! But I'm not in a need to get rid of the truck.. just been wanting to build up another project car, but I could go both ways and just be happy with my 'stroker.

I'm in NY, where the prices of 4x4 diesel trucks are sky high.
