LOL!
Yeah, I was just happy the replacement parts were so close in color and they weren't all rusted and beat.
Woulda' liked to have the 1/2 ton shortbed they were on, but once the big salvage/scrap yards capture a vehicle, it's hard to get them back out complete.

Mark.

I know where there is a very nice grey bed, with an equally nice tailgate and flares.
They want $750 for it.
I'd considered using it if I had put this truck together.
Mine is decent, but the other is way nicer.

That would be helpful but all I am after is the flares themselves I want to shave them to fit my 92 box. When I looked one time here not to long ago i thought new they were about 400 a side so I guess I would pay 400-450 for a set of decent ones. On a side note my brother may be interested in your front bumper on the red on in the pics. It looks pretty straight.

98cummins,
I can get you a set of flares for that much.

FYI, they are some sort of flexible ABS type plastic, similar to the front bumper covers. I'm a big, heavy person and I've walked around on them on junk trucks just to see if they will break and they take a LOT of weight, so I'm not too sure how they will be to work with when you get to cutting on them.

As far as the front bumper goes, I think it's spoken for.

Mark.
