I rebuilt a NV4500 for a guy and ended up with some good used parts, this 5th gear only has 6500 miles on it, also has the washer and the locking retention nut, if you look closely you will see 2 hex head allen screws that secure up against the mainshaft threads once the nut is torqued down.
