I need a 2wd transmission a nv3500 or a nv4500 I am doing cummins 4b either a 3.9 or 3.3 in a dakota

A good candidate tranny for the conversion would be an AX15.
What's more, Advance Adapter makes a set-up that bolts to the AX15, which will adapt to the Ford Small block bell housing.
The Ford Small block adapter set-up behind the 4bt is a fairly common set-up.
When I get around to doing the twin turbo 4bt in my 1996 Dakota, this is the set-up I will run.
