This is my first time on the forum

I recently acquired a 1999 30' Genesis/Amtran chassis school bus with the DT466e.
it's a great bus and it runs like a champ however I need more power. I live in a valley and anywhere we go is uphill and there's really no way to get a run at them. It's painful to have to go 35mph for 3 miles every time we go somewhere!
Are there options for Power and or transmission options that could help out.

 

It would be more cost effective to swap the engine to a Dt530E. Basically, you would need to swap injectors, ECM, turbo, and HPOP from a 530 just to add power to what you have.
