Why would you need a thicker head gasket?

Buy a Mopar gasket and stud it with ARP. Dodge used two head gaskets on the 5.9 depending on block deck height. Have the parts guy get you one based on your VIN.
I would not jack around with the head gasket, wrong one and boom, boom out go the lights see my attached picture. I have head gasket experience. The hard way........Good Luck!
