price for an oringed head and possible some new valve springs that will let me rev up to 4k rpm without valve float. also do u have a 4k cam or close to it? hehe i need to go shopping for some new toys for her =D.

 

Are you wanting to do an exchange head or send yours and have it done? We have the springs in stock. We can also port the head and replace the valve seals ( a must ). Some higher mileage heads have needed valve guides, when can run into a little money. We can fix you up either way. Thanks, Shane

 

i was thinking more along the line of an exchange just to lessen down time. i dont need it ported will be doing that in class for a project. and im guessing that replacing the valve seals goes with port job. the truck only had 118k on it so i doubt the guides need replacing. and what else would you recamend for proper operation at abover 3k and below 4k rpm wise? want to use my redling chip to its potential. thx alot

 

You could do the seals, when you port the head. You will most likely want to grind the valves and seats then too. Believe it or not, the guides are probaly ready to be replaced at the mileage you are at. The last one I did had just a tick over 100k and had to have all the guides.

 

wont be porting it for about a year. and right now im kinda lookin for springs cam and oring. but when the time gets closer will defanly get back to you on porting the head if not only for advise, could you send me a price for the o ring, springs, and a cam. thx alot and thx for helping support the site.
