47RE & converter replacement
Have a 2003 SRW SB Quad cab 3500 w/47re. Looking to replace with 48RE rebuilt w/billet converter and input shaft. Maybe an Allison 3000MH would fit. I don't know.
I live in the Richmond,VA area and would need a shop near area to install.
Maybe ATS,Goerend or Suncoast. I don't know. I will stay under 500hp and pull a 14K lb. 5th wheel. I have towed 10K but feel the driveline won't take any more punishment.
Any ideas of parts and/or labor are greatly appreciated. Thanks,John.
