Any suggestions on what a fella should do as far as finding and upgraded vp44, 90-110 hp injectors, and a 150 gph fuel system for a fairly reasonable price . I have a 2001 cummins. any help appreciated

 

Why would you want an upgraded pump? Your SO pump will make more power than any upgraded pump on the market?

 

well, a good one might, but mines burnt up. i found one at thoroughbred diesel thats made with all bosch parts like the stock pump. but its said to add 100 extra hp

 

It will make less power! The HRVP-44 have less ability to make top end power (Maximum power with HRVP is around 500-575rwhp)

Also , HRVP-44's use the same electronic upgrades that give the drag comp part of it umph. Your drag comp (or other wire tap box) will be pretty much useless!

 

THere are some high performance pumps out there, but the stock SO pump will make 600HP easy. You will have to be running at about 250-300HP injectors and a box. Spend your money on other upgrades unless you want to make over 650HP.
