So, I have a 2001 Dodge Cummins 2500 with ECM troubles. The Cummins Part# on the ECM is: 3947412. The truck quit me a few years back--will start and try to idle, as soon as it gets a little warm goes totally off, guages swing all over the place, idle fluctuates, throttle doesnt respond, you name it....., and I just haven't had time or money to fix it. I am considering getting it running again, and when I scan the OBDII I get the following codes: P0121, PO123, PO606, P1488, PO113, PO563, PO118, PO238. The one that seems to be at the root of the issue is P0606 indicating a ECM failure. I am looking to either buy a reman ECM, or have the existing ECM repaired since there isn't a real hurry. I am seeking prices for the overhaul and or reman units. The truck is a 2001, 2WD, 2500. Thanks in advance!
