My 2005 Dodge Diesel 3500 with 60000 miles is jumping rpm at 50 to 55 mph. There is no code showing. I did notice also yesterday that when I put truck into 2nd gear the engine rpm jumps. Very annoying seems like it does not know what gear to go into. Dodge deealer told me there is nothing that can be done with this problem, it is characteristic on the 49re trans. Please help, I have been looking for answer for two months now. Dodge also told me just to drive thru it.
