Default Need a few questions answered

Hello, I am completly new to this, but figured you guys could point me in the right direction. I have the opertunity to buy a pretty sweet looking 79 f150 sawpped with a 7.3 idi. It needs a trans, but that's not a big deal. This will be my first diesel and I really want a turbo. Since I would have to put a tranny in it, I would rather just drop a powerstroke ininsread and just get ride of the idi. This truck is exactly what I want, and is the right kind of money, even if I drop a powerstoke in it it's in my price range. So my question is do you think it's possible to put a powerstroke in it? Just let me know what you think. For or against it. I'm open to any help I can get and if you think the powerstroke is possible or not. Thanks

Yes, it's possible to put a powerstroke in it... Anything is possible with a lot of money and time...

Welcome to Diesel bombers by the way... If you have any powerstroke specific questions, check out the powerstroke section down at the bottom of the mainpage... Lots of great information down there... Using the search function just like you would google and you will find great threads of questions similar asked before you...
