Question What would I need to do to put a 6BT Cummins in a 1996 Ford F150?

Well first off, I am new to this site so I had no idea where to put this... and I don't have a Diesel yet. I would like to do this project with a few friends but I want to be sure of some things before I go out and buy a 6BT Cummins!

Ok what things would I have to replace in this truck to be able to get it to run? Would an M5R2 transmission work in here? My friends said I would also need a 1/2 ton rear axle but idk.. I'm pretty new to Diesel's and any truck modifications. My friends work on stuff all the time so they would help me out a lot and it would be a great learning experience for me. So what would need to be replaced to get this thing rolling with a 6BT Cummins? Thanks in advance!
