The EGR delete, no. The DPF delete, possibly.

From what I've heard of Texas law, it depends on where you take it. Some places check it and just don't care, some places don't check at all, and for some places you might have to throw a couple of things back on there, or at least make it look like some kind of exhaust is on there.

Edit: Some tunes on the Spartan (210 and higher I believe) turn off the EGR, but I believe the blocker plates are the ultimate fix. You can do it yourself, but its not an easy task. Doesn't require taking the cab off or anything, but its cramped in there.

f you want a cummins with a manual tranny, when you find it you better buy it. They are rare and when they pop up they don't last long. I love my 03 3500 with an nv5600. You can't beat that sound. Autos shift too quick, mine sounds like a semi: geeeeer, pause for turbo whistle, geeeeeer, ........
