250K is the motor rebuild point, but the 12v is also called the million mile motor

Okay, well that guy back out so i guess im going to have to keep on looking for one. Hopefully i'll find a nice one with somewhere around 180K. thanks for the advice!

okay, should i see if he'll throw in any cash? Or would you just reccomend staying away. He says it doesnt smoke at all and has never been turned up or anything like that.

Roof rust is a deal breaker. It is almost impossible to repair properly so it goes away and stays away. I would never buy a truck with roof rust no matter what else it had going for it, unless it was just for parts.
