Would you get mor hp out of stacks vs a turboback exhaust or doesnt it matter. Same question with mpg as well say both are 5 in exhaust

Both types take out the cat and give you a better flowing muffler. Stacks are done for looks and/or sound. Doing a 4in turbo back exhaust is all you really need. There is no hp gain with going to a 5in.

Well now days most dick and harrys have either put stacks on or just cut out the muffler . Ive seen alot of guys running 5in because they think it adds hp. It does give it a deeper sound. I try to make my exhaust quiet but my turbo loud To each thier own though

once they hear my turbo its usually too late to do anything about it.. i like the sleeper look too... except i do have a big long chrome tip... length of the tip matters a bunch on the sound too...

Same as what these guys said. As long as the downpipe are the same size and the majority of the exhaust is also, there will be hp difference.
