Engine will breath much easier allowing for more power and better mileage, but again, you lose your warranty.

Just make sure if you get a tuner that you can remove it without it leaving a foot print in case you have to take it to the dealer for work.
x2.just make sure that if ya go to modify the truck even more to try & stay with one company the parts work better together then mixing & matching a bunch of different brands

Yeah I kinda figured that it would void my warranty. What are your thoughts on a good brand of parts to use outside of a turbo system?

Im just not a fan of BullyDog, or really Edge. Edge isnt bad, but I dont think its the best either. For the Dmax my favorites are EFI Live, PPE, and H&S. I really think H&S has stepped up the game quite a bit for the new engines, especially in the area of DPF delete kits.

When I was down at fort campbell, ky I had abudd that had a bully dog in his 04 cummings and it seemed like it was a love hate for him. I always heard that bully dog was pretty good along with banks. Guess I'm just gonna have to dig into these companies more.

Banks products are...... overpriced and not as good as a lot of people make them out to be. I give him credit that he pioneered the diesel performance industry but IMO other companies have leaped far ahead of his technology in many aspects.
