Default det 4-71

I have no idea, but he can out pull my 2001 cummins HO with edge box and exaust in the mountains with a 12k trailer, but when i hit the opean road i smoke him. if i had to guess he has around 250hp and to much torque to measure. when he lets of the gas at 45 mph the tires skid from the compresion and then when he puts the pedal down the tires spin no turbo lag at all, but like you said you shift like you have a purpouse in life.i think that motor only has a very small rpm curve.

I love the sound of those old Supercharged 2 strokers. They were way ahead of their time in some aspects.
Dang that dudes made some progress since I last seen that truck. I believe it has a 453 in it.

This is almost exactly what I want, except with a standard.

You better invest in good earplugs if you want to drive a truck like that for very long....

no it was a v6. The ol two stroke detroits are easy to tell. Since it has a 6v53, it is a V6 configuration with each cylinder displacing 53 cubes, so its a 318 or so.

In the same way, an 8v92 detroit is a V8 with each cylinder displacing 92 cubes. If there is no "V" in the name, it is an inline configuration. so a 6-71 detroit would be an inline 6 with each cylinder displacing 71 cubes.

Quick rundown of old detroits
