03 Duramax Dually

Price is way too high on an 03, should be around $19000-20000, especially at 168000kms, get the VIN and run a vincheck on it, it will tell you the work that has been done under warranty, what options it came with from factory etc...
The LB7's can crack injector bodies, its a poor design on the injectors, If they have been replaced in the last 2 years under warranty they should be the upgraded design with the new bodies that are much less prone to cracking
other than that just check for normal things like leaking oil, normal shifting, all fluid levels are good, 4x4 works properly, no funny noises, these trucks are fairly reliable when looked after, and not overly abused

Price does seem high to me as well. Sorry I don't have a ton of info on the Duramax, I am new to them as well. Things I do know to check for...
-Have the injectors been replaced? (there was a recall and many are under warranty) (It could be 100 or 200k miles and 7 years IIRC)
-Check oil level and see if it smells like diesel, would indicate a problem.
-Water pump been replaced on high millage trucks?
-Serpentine belt replaced on high millage trucks (would do every 75k)
-How often did the owner change the fuel filter?
-What oil filter, oil and how often do they change?
-If it's 4x4 check for transfer case fluid under the truck, the oil pump can come lose and wear a hole in the TC housing causing a leak which can lead to other damage due to lack of fluid. Can fix before it happens for about 70$ IIRC.
-Intermediate steering shaft knock is common, grease regularly to resolve.
-Smell trans fluid and make sure it's not burnt smelling.
-Check front unit bearings and axle seals (with any vehicle really but figured I would through it in)
LLY's (04.5-05) have a problem with the engine wiring harness rubbing on the alternator bracket which can cause injector 2 and 7 to fail. They are also know to over heat.
