Default new to the diesel scene

just bought my first diesel on ebay and dont know much about them it is a 87 f 350 with a 95 7.3 out of an ambulance. it appears to be non turbo. can anyone tell me anything about those. i also got the original 6.9 litre with it. any info will be helpful thank you

Default Not a bad truck

Their not everyones favorite, But its a good motor,
I would Buy a turbo and manifold off of Ebay or Craiglist ASAP tho. And Injectors. They are just very limited as to power. Basically, Diesels NEED Turbo's, thats why Nobody wanted them for daily drivers until the Powerstroke came along. Heres a thought tho. Sell the 6.9 and Shop for a high mileage turbo motor. Buy it cheap and swap parts
