looking at buying a 2001 duramax

I am looking a buying a 2001 chevy duramax crew cab long bed 4x4 its in pretty nice condition. I am just wondering are there any major problems with these trucks that I need to look for before I buy it?

thay have a knowen injector problem...i am sure someone who knows more will chime in soon..

injectors are expensive to replace and it is a matter of when not if.

Injector, water pump, that's it.

In terms of performance, that transmission can't handle more than a +75hp tune at the crank/+50RWHP.

Other than that it might be the best truck you ever buy.
