Exclamation Cummins -duramax- power stroke

hello,
As you can see im new to this site and currently am looking into a diesel truck next year. I really want a 3500 Cummins diesel, or a 2500 or a GMC 3500 2500 versions of course it all depends on the $$$. Im stuck between buying new or used do to the fact that I would like to stack it out, lift it 3 inches or so mud tires tool box, chip you name it. Ive been looking into the 06's 07's 08's i have a year or so to decide. I although drive up and down highway to work but i lovvveeeee off roading, pulling trees out, and one day blowing some black smoke to make any rainy day sunny haha. I right now own a f150 07 my lease is up next yearish.. Any suggestions on where I should look or start looking?? id really appreciate it on account of this is going to be my dream truck hah .

Matt

Get a 07 5.9l cummins due to the fact that the 6.7's and every other diesel in that year and after where hit by the EPA ratards. If you are willing to hack emissions stuff off get a 07+ but I would get a 5.9 CR. Are you gonna be doing tons of towing with random powerslides and stuff or is this a pure horse around truck? Reason I ask is it will decide if you want a auto or a manual. Manual are as easy as getting a great clutch or you can get a 5k dollar auto and have it be damn near bullet proof. IMO I would go stick shift if you stack it! It would sound sweet. Hope this helps and sorry for the journal. Lol

I have a 97 Fleetwood Discovery Class A Motorhome 230hp Cummins Diesel pusher, I am stuck in the mud, I don't see anything strong enough in the front to hook up to to pull it forward... any suggestions?
