Mahindra diesel pickup
Ive been looking at these little diesel trucks for quite a while, the US Government has tried to keep them out for a long time. They cant stand loosing the fuel taxes on a 70 MPG vehicle. Anyway they should be available in late Dec of this year. www.mahindra,com they have been around a long time, I drove one in Saudia Arabia for a while, pretty peppy! American truck makes have dropped the ball when it comes to a 1/2 ton diesel truck in the US. I'll keep the thread going as I find out more, IE price delivered in US (Dallas for mine)

Just another nail in the coffin for your locally made products. Will end up like our country here once all the imports started. Jobs and money all goes overseas. The day is coming when all the so called 3rd world countries will be up there where we were and all the western countries will be the 3rd world countries living in poverty

normally I would agree with Super Turbo on this, but look close at where your Ford, Chevy and Dodge trucks and engines, wiring harness, seat belts, and parts are made. All three have promised but not delivered on a half ton diesel. Take a look at the Ford diesel Ranger available everywhere except the US, or the Ford diesel Focus, again not in the US. I really dont know what GM offers in foreign countries.
