Aluminium pistons are the same as forged pistons??

In standard engines pistons are made of cast iron?

 

standard motors are cast aluminumn and some are made of forged aluminum. i'd hate to see a cast iron piston. it would be so heavy the combustion stroke would prolly not move it very well.....

the 3 types of piston that i know that they make,

cast aluminum, hypoeutectic, Forged aluminum....

1200 on your egts is too hot. I'd say 900 would be about your max you'd want to push that little engine, specially with no intercooler. Where talking apples and oranges vs our engines and this little Mits engine.

Nope! A diesel needs fuel for ignition. The heat transfer from the high compression is what makes a diesel run.
