we got a guy here local that does all our tube work for the price of the steel on my friend Jay's rock crawler.......ill try and get some pics of the work he did when we swapped the high pinion dana 44 8 lug and full float 8 lug dana 60 under Jay's TJ Jeep Wrangler and all the brackets he made for the 10 inch Rock Krawler lift with 10 inch wheelbase stretch.....meanwhile here's some i found.....

Nice pix.
I was thinking about sliders instead of the stupid side steps I have.

They just don't make nerf bars like they used too. The last three sets I've had all rusted from the inside out. Pure crap...

I have the westin tube steps right now, and they just hang too low for what I want to do. It looks like anything that I want to do is going to have to be custom built by someone. The search continues.

I built my own

3" square tubing that come out to exactly the edge of the tires

I call em side impact rails

I fabbed em up then had bedliner sprayed on em........very tough

Cool. I may have to try and make me some that are like that! Did you weld them to your frame or just bolt them on?
